After spending 17 years in Advertising in various Creative leadership roles across agencies like Ogilvy, Lintas and Publicis and working as creative lead on many iconic brands, Sohini Dasgupta made the switch to direction in 2015 and set up Big Momma.

Big Momma Productions, a production house was founded by Sohini Dasgupta with the singular intent to create gorgeous commercials mixed with great story telling.

An artist by training and a film-maker by temperament, Sohini’s expertise lies in telling and curating creatively-motivated, engaging, visual stories and story tellers. In categories like luxury, lifestyle and fashion, the creative idea has to be unfolded with great visual craft and that’s where her passion lies. Definite aesthetics and visual vocabulary for brands and utmost gentleness marks of the superior output that big Momma intends to create. Also, having worked extensively with a great mix of Global and Indian FMCGs, Sohini and Big Momma have also partnered with the best of India and Global talents.

We have produced films across the globe, from Los Angeles to Bangkok, Amsterdam to Mumbai and have partners and collaborators of global standards .We have worked with celebrities like Megan Fox, Mario Dedivanovic and content creators like Lily Singh and in our home turf we navigate the best of celeb shoots with complete elan.
